If your organization has employees across different time zones, it's easy to manage their schedules using our World Clock. The setting allows you to choose whether to view shifts according to their local time or your own time, so you can be sure you have coverage where and when it's needed.
The setting can be accessed right from the shifts page so you can easily switch views any time:
When the setting is turned off (toggle switch says No), you will see times according to the location assigned to the shift. For example, the shifts for the Warehouse location shown below are displayed according to central time (GMT -5), while the Cafe 108 shifts are shown according to Eastern time (GMT -4).
When the setting is turned on (toggle switch says Yes), you will see times according to your own time zone.
Notice the shifts for the Warehouse location are now appearing one hour later on the calendar below since the user's time zone is set to Eastern time.
For managers, this means it's easy to plan schedules and see that there are no gaps since they can choose to view shifts according to one time zone.
For employees, it means that even if a manager is located in a different time zone, they don't have to worry about calculating the difference or missing a shift.
