Premium and Business accounts can set the number of employees needed for an available shift. This will help admins and managers know when they have staffed enough people for a particular shift.
To set the number of employees needed, simply type a value into the Slots field when creating an available shift.
Any time an employee applies for the shift, you'll see a running count from the main view of the schedule.
If you enable automatic approval, this means you can set the number of employees needed within one shift, and the first employees to apply will be automatically assigned to it. When the limit is reached, the shift will be closed to any more applications. As employees apply, you'll see the total number of available slots reduced to reflect the number of people still needed.
Premium and Business subscribers can approve multiple applicants from the same available shift. This allows you to create just one available shift and staff as many people as you need.
From your Dashboard, you'll see the shift application notification and the option to choose:
In the next window, you'll see all applicants listed in the order they applied. You can select multiple people and then also choose to close the available shift (which removes it from the schedule and doesn't allow any more employees to apply) or keep it open (allows employees to continue to apply for the shift).
Once you've approved multiple applicants, you'll see separate, but identical shifts appear on the calendar for each person.
