For Premium and Business subscriptions, Sling allows you to sync schedule details to other calendar applications, to overlay your work schedules on top of your existing personal calendar.
Use calendar sync to:
Overlay your work schedule over your personal events
Sync the full schedule for your organization with your personal calendar app
Balance your professional and personal commitments better
Keep your full schedule in one place and never miss a beat
How does the calendar sync work?
Sling calendar sync uses an open standard called iCalendar to share the work schedule with third-party calendar applications.
Please note that you must log in to the web version of Sling to obtain the necessary link to establish this sync. It is not possible to obtain the unique link using the Sling mobile app at this time.

Syncing My Schedule
Once you have logged into Sling from the web, select the Schedule tab in the blue menu bar. You'll find the calendar sync icon in the top right of your Schedule tab.
β
When you click the calendar sync icon, you will be able to generate and then copy a URL. If you have permission to view the full schedule for your entire organization, you will be able to obtain a URL for the entire schedule, as in the example below.
In a separate tab, open the calendar application that you would like to sync with your Sling shifts. Each calendar app is a bit different, but generally, under the Settings, you will find an option to subscribe or add another calendar. You're looking for the option to add a calendar "From URL."
Once you find the place where you can add the unique link you copied from your Sling schedule, then you can copy and paste this link into your calendar app's settings and save.

Note: Once the sync is complete, it will show your shifts one month into the past and one month into the future. This now includes time off events in addition to the assigned shifts for the locations you had access to sync. This does not include available shifts.
Note: If the Shift Acceptance setting is enabled, shifts that are awaiting acceptance will also sync over to your calendar app.
If the sync is no longer needed, you can disable the synchronization on the same calendar sync icon on your Schedule page by selecting 'Disable'. When you want to refresh the sync, you can do so by selecting 'Reset'. In cases where you are refreshing the sync between the applications, you will need to reset the sync by following the same steps outlined in this article.

Syncing the Full Schedule
Log in to the web version of Sling and select the calendar sync icon on the Schedule.
NEW: Now you'll be able to indicate whether you wish to sync the entire schedule for all locations or specific ones!
Please note that you will only have access to sync locations you have permission to view.
After you select the locations you wish to sync, generate and copy the unique URL using the icon in the adjacent field and paste the URL into your calendar app settings. You can use the same steps listed in the first section of this article to complete this process.
Please note that only scheduled shifts sync over to your calendar app when you sync the full schedule.
How often does the calendar sync update?
Calendar applications typically sync and update the schedule on a regular interval, which can vary from several minutes to several hours depending on the application. Some calendar applications may allow you to change the refresh interval and some may not. Sling does not have any role in determining how often the calendar application syncs with your Sling schedule.
