You can delete a time off request that you submitted by clicking on the request on the calendar under your Schedule in the web version of Sling, and then clicking the option to delete it:

In the app, you'll be able to accomplish this by going to your Shifts tab, tapping the time off request that is pending, and then using the 3 dots in the upper right corner to access the option to delete:
