Sling's Premium and Business subscriptions include a daily double overtime calculator so you can spot and avoid potential overtime costs before they become a problem. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable laws, so be sure to speak with a legal, tax, compliance, or other professional for advice before making any decisions regarding overtime payment calculations.
To start measuring daily double overtime, you need to enable the function in your Labor Cost settings in Settings > Labor cost.
Once enabled, employees will receive twice their regular pay after 12 hours worked in a day.
Business accounts will be able to see double overtime hours in Reports.
Note that daily double overtime and weekly overtime are NOT compounded. If a shift exceeds the daily double overtime threshold, those hours will not contribute to the weekly overtime.
