We understand that there will be times when you are not available to work. Sling has two different features to help you communicate this info to your employer.

Unavailability

It's best to use unavailability for long-term, ongoing needs. This could be a school schedule, a second job, or even when you don't have child care available.ย

Unavailability is designed to repeat anywhere from every 1 to 4 weeks, or until you specify an end date. Learn more about this option here.

Time Off Requests

You should enter a time off request for events such as vacation, appointments, or special occasions. Time off does not have a repeat option. You can also use it for full or partial days and you can enter a request that spans multiple days. To learn more about this option, click here.

โ€‹Please note that if you do not see these options in your account, it is possible that your employer has disabled the feature.
