To adjust someone's system role, go to Dashboard > Employees > then choose the employee you want to update from the list by clicking on their name. This will take you to their Profile details.
Note: A user designated as an Employee is not able to change their own system role. A user designated as a Manager is able to appoint Employees and other managers. Only an Admin can make another user an Admin.
Next, select the Work tab, illustrated below:
In the Work tab, use the drop-down menu for System role to select the employee's new role, then click the Save button that appears at the bottom of the screen.
Note: If the Save button is grayed out, details are missing or need to be corrected in order for Sling to function correctly. Click the gray save button, and Sling will highlight the field that requires attention. You may need to click on the other tabs, such as Personal or Work, to locate the error.

If you have been assigned the wrong system role, and you do not have access to create shifts, then you will need to contact a manager or admin for your company's account and ask them to update your profile details.
