Day parts are a Premium feature that can be used to enhance your scheduling experience. With this feature, you can sort and filter shifts according to the time of day when they occur, meaning managers and admins can focus on specific times.
To set up your day parts, go to the Schedule page, then click the options button (3 dots) near the top right and choose Edit time blocks and day parts.
In the side panel that pops out, click on the Day parts tab.
Click the Create day part button to add a new one.
Next, add the details: For example, you may want to create a time range called Lunch from 11 AM to 2 PM in order to see all the shifts starting around lunch time.
When you're done editing, click Add and the new day part will now be in your list.
Once you have created a day part, you apply it on your schedule using the filters.
Selecting it will show only shifts that occur within that range.
You will also see that you can now group your schedule according to day parts (top right of the schedule). This will group shifts together based on the day parts you have defined. A shift will be included if it starts within the defined range.
Shifts that begin outside of a defined range will be moved to Other.
